Looking for a summer job yet? Well, today, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Wave Waterpark will host a job fair for seasonal positions in the city of Vista's Parks and Community Services Department. More than 100 positions are available for the Wave Waterpark, Moonlight Amphitheatre, and Recreation Day Camp programs, including lifeguards, concessionaires, ticket sellers, camp counselors and more.
Jobs are open to youths age 16 and older (those interested in Wave aquatic positions should bring appropriate water attire for a swim test). WHAT'S HAPPENIN'
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors is holding its monthly gathering at 2 p.m. today at the San Diego Vet Center, 2900 Sixth Ave. TAPS, committed to caring for those affected by the death of a loved one in the armed forces, welcomes parents, siblings, spouses, significant others, friends, other relatives or co-workers of military casualties. Come share a story, find comfort, make a new friend; listen as other survivors provide the connections and support that help you know you are not alone.
