Gulls on short end of low score

UNION-TRIBUNE

February 19, 2005

       Falcons 1 Gulls 0

FRESNO – Goalkeeper Eddy Ferhi made 30 saves, but Fresno was able to get one shot past him as the Falcons beat the Gulls 1-0 in an ECHL game last night at the Save Mart Center.

Brett Jaeger made 31 saves for the Falcons, who scored 3:31 into the second period on a power-play goal by John Wroblewski, who sent a wrist shot over Ferhi's shoulder from the left circle.

The Gulls (25-18-6) are winless in their last three games, falling six points behind Fresno (28-17-6) for the fourth and final playoff berth in the West Division.

The Gulls return to the Sports Arena for a 7:05 game tonight against Bakersfield.
