That's how many children suffer nonfatal injuries every year related to bunk beds, according to a recent study by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Most vulnerable, not surprisingly, were children 6 and younger, and six in 10 of all injuries were to boys. Even college students had their share of falls and lacerations.
TEA WITH THE PRINCESS
Young Actors' Theater in San Diego brings its summer production of “Disney's Beauty and the Beast” to life this month with special matinee tea parties on the weekends of July 12-13, and July 19-20. Belle, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, Chip, and Cogsworth will be on hand, while guests enjoy catered sweets and beverages. Finish with a behind-the-scenes tour and receive a complimentary autograph book.
